Post Massive Weight Loss Surgery

Post Massive Weight Loss Surgery

Dr. Condé-Green specializes in the following:

Panniculectomy (Removal of Excess Skin and Fat)

Panniculectomy (Removal of Excess Skin and Fat)

This procedure removes the pannus — excess skin and tissue from the lower abdomen which is often debilitating to patients that have lost weigh. This excess skin is sometimes referred to as an “apron.” Unlike an abdominoplasty, the panniculectomy does not tighten the abdominal muscles for a more cosmetic appearance, disqualifying it as a cosmetic procedure.

Upper Body Lift

Upper Body Lift

This procedure is ideal for patients who would like aesthetic refinement in the arms, breasts, or back. This can help to reduce sags or folds appearing on the back, lifts the breasts and creates a firm, sculpted appearance to flabby, loose upper arms.

Lower Body Lift

Lower Body Lift

This procedure removes excess fat, skin, and tissue on the lower body. It will tighten and firm areas from the abdomen down. This is an ideal procedure for patients who are most concerned about the hips, buttocks and legs.

Circumferential Body Lift

Circumferential Body Lift

A circumferential body lift is a procedure in which the sagging skin and fat on the front of the body and the back is removed. It tightens the remaining skin to create a sculpted appearance. Men and women who lose a lot of weight through diet and exercise or bariatric surgery, are often left with excess skin that is uncomfortable and can be removed successfully with this procedure.

Thigh Lift

Thigh Lift

This procedure removes sagging skin, fat, and tissue from the thighs and tightens them to create a firm, sculpted appearance that is balanced with your figure. Depending on the amount of excess fat or skin that you have, you may need liposuction, a superior scar or a medial scar along the internal aspect of your thighs. Dr Conde-Green has lectured on this procedure at Plastic Surgery The Meeting 2019, the annual meeting of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Arm / Forearm Lift

Arm / Forearm Lift

This procedure also called brachioplasty tightens loose, sagging skin from the upper arms, restoring their firmness. The skin on the arms and forearms can sag after significant weight loss or as a natural result of aging. This procedure creates a more contoured appearance in the arms and restore a more attractive, firm, sculpted look. Dr Conde-Green has published her experience with this procedure in the # journal of Aesthetic Surgery, the official journal of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).

Breast Lift

Breast Lift

Also called Mastopexy corrects the drooping or sagging of the breasts that can occur after  weight loss. These factors can affect the size and position of the nipple, which can also be corrected during your breast lift. If you want an enhancement in the size of your breasts and a breast lift, they can be performed at the same time or in two different steps.

Face / Neck Lift

Face / Neck Lift

A facelift removes excess skin and tightens the skin of the face to smooth jowls, wrinkles, and folds that can become prominent after massive weight loss. It produces dramatic, beautiful and natural results. It is a delicate procedure that requires technical expertise, along with substantial time and attention to detail. It can be combined with a neck lift if the signs of aging are also prominent in the neck addressing the sagging skin that contributes to a “turkey neck” or the excess fat that results in a double chin. Dr Conde-Green has published many articles on this procedure achieving natural results with great patient satisfaction.
